Meme Coin | wallstreetpepe.com
Challenge
WEPE launched in 2025, inspired by The Wolf of Wall Street. It needed a clear brand, story, and visual style to cut through the crowded meme coin space.
My Role
I co-created the illustrative vision with another designer and led the brand identity. I designed the bold, cartoon-driven website, helped build the project narrative with our team, and directed the look and feel of campaigns and social presence.
Brand Identity
The style was crass, playful, and instantly recognizable — oversized dollar-sign glasses, cartoon characters, and bright, shareable visuals that parodied Wall Street excess while tapping into meme culture.
Community & Campaigns
I guided campaigns that built a huge online following. By the end of the presale, WEPE had over 35,000 followers on X (Twitter) and 15,000 members on Telegram, forming the core of the “WEPE Army.”
Marketing & Ongoing Development
While the website redesign is complete, I continue to oversee the brand’s rollout across social platforms. This includes providing creative direction and guidance on how the identity extends to marketing assets, ensuring the brand maintains consistency and impact across all touchpoints.
Results
Presale lasted just over two months and raised $74 million.
NFT collection minted out in 10 minutes (though my involvement here was limited).
WEPE became one of 2025’s biggest meme coin launches, with branding and storytelling central to its success.
